Hello!
Late bloomer. That’s me. I found art in 2019 and began this journey to make art a life-long pursuit. I started watching YouTube videos, buying supplies, and trying out different techniques. All in acrylic. I started taking lessons. I joined the local arts league and participated in small, local art shows with other artists. And, in March 2021, I had my first solo show. I came up with a name for my company and created an LLC. And made this website! Now, I’m taking drawing and painting classes at a local university. A little backwards? Indeed!
If you had told me all this was gonna happen three years ago, I would have laughed.
I know I have a long way to go to learn all the things I want to learn about making art well, but, man, I've been having a great time so far.
My hope is that people will hear the story behind the art and make some connections for themselves. I give God the credit for any good thing that may come from my efforts, and I give Him credit for giving me the energy to continue learning.
